Humble's Holiday Season Mostly Happens on Will Clayton Parkway. Main Street Gets One Night.

When most people picture the holidays in Humble, they picture Main Street lit up for the Christmas Parade of Lights. Between Oct. 26 and Dec. 13, though, the Humble Civic Center at 8233 Will Clayton Pkwy has 11 event dates on its calendar, from a two-day fundraiser market to a gem show to a holiday stage play. Historic Main Street has one, the parade on Tuesday, Dec. 1.

Not every big date falls on a weekend, either. The first major holiday market of the season runs on a Monday night and a Tuesday. One of its two sessions sells tickets only in advance. If you're planning gift runs, family outings and a parade night, your calendar is really built around one building on Will Clayton Parkway.

This Weekend Starts at a Park and a Theater

The first event dates of the season come before the Civic Center opens its doors, and they come right away.

On Saturday, Oct. 24, Harris County Precinct 3 hosts Tricks & Treats Among the Trees at Jesse H. Jones Park & Nature Center, 20634 Kenswick Drive. The Precinct 3 flyer calls it a free trick-or-treat trail running from 3 to 6 p.m. Since it ends at 6, families can do the trail in the late afternoon and still be home before dark.

That same weekend, the Charles Bender Performing Arts Center at 611 Higgins St. opens Into the Woods. The run has seven performances over two weekends, according to the Bender Center's event page:

  • Friday, Oct. 23, at 7 p.m.
  • Saturday, Oct. 24, at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.
  • Sunday, Oct. 25, at 2 p.m.
  • Friday, Oct. 30, at 7 p.m.
  • Saturday, Oct. 31, at 2 p.m.
  • Sunday, Nov. 1, at 2 p.m.

The Saturday matinee on Oct. 24 lets out in time to reach the Jones Park trail before it closes. The Halloween show on Oct. 31 is also a matinee, so trick-or-treating that evening stays open.

Then the Civic Center Takes Over on a Monday

The Kingwood Women's Club's 28th Annual Holiday Marketplace comes to the Humble Civic Center on Oct. 26 and 27, 2026. Visit Humble calls it the club's biggest fundraiser of the year, with hundreds of vendors, a cafe and a fashion show.

Listings around town show different hours for this event. The schedule on the Kingwood Women's Club's own marketplace page matches the one in Community Impact's October events roundup, and it splits the market into two very different sessions:

  1. Monday, Oct. 26, from 6 to 9 p.m. is the Preview Party, with shopping, a raffle, a silent auction and door prizes. Tickets are $40, sold only in advance, and none are sold at the door.
  2. Tuesday, Oct. 27, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. is a full day of shopping with a raffle, door prizes and the fashion show. General admission costs $11 online in advance or $15 at the door.

Because the preview night is advance-only, deciding on Monday afternoon to go may be too late. Tuesday is more flexible, but the $4 online savings applies to every ticket, which adds up for a group. Hours have varied between listings, so check the club's page again before you head over.

November and December Keep Coming Back to 8233 Will Clayton

After the marketplace, the Civic Center stays busy through the season. The Humble Civic Center's calendar lists five more events through mid-December, and the Bender Center adds one holiday show in between.

On Thursday, Nov. 12, the AADE National Fin, Feather, Fur, Food Festival fills the Humble Civic Center Arena & Expo from 3:30 to 10:30 p.m. Its long weekday hours make it an easy after-work stop.

The next morning, the HGMS Annual Gem, Mineral, Jewelry & Fossil Show moves in for Nov. 13 through 15. It runs 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets are $12, kids 10 and under get in free, and parking is free. The calendar describes jewelry and specimens "perfect for gift giving," along with children's activities like a "Dino Dig," which makes it a gift stop that also works for kids.

On Saturday, Nov. 21, the Bender Center presents Yuletide 2026 – A Very Bublé Christmas. Cocktails start at 6 p.m., the show at 7 p.m. and a reception at 8:30 p.m., per the Bender Center listing. It's the most dressed-up evening on the season's calendar, and it lands the Saturday before Thanksgiving week.

On Friday, Dec. 4, and Saturday, Dec. 5, the Home for the Holidays Market of Humble returns to the Civic Center as a two-day market opening at 9 a.m. each day, with more than 100 merchants. The Dec. 4 event page gives hours of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The MAC 38th Annual Luncheon follows on Monday, Dec. 7, at 9:30 a.m. It comes three days after the parade, so it's the second big shopping weekend of the season, about five weeks after the Kingwood Women's Club market.

On Dec. 12 and 13, the Civic Center stages The Hit Stage Play Ho! Ho! Ho! No!, with a 4 p.m. show on Saturday and a 5 p.m. show on Sunday. Saturday, Dec. 12, is also the date for Homestead for the Holidays at Jesse H. Jones Park, according to a Harris County Commissioners Court item. The county hasn't posted a time yet. If the park event runs in the morning, that Saturday could start at the nature center and end at the 4 p.m. play.

Main Street's Night Is Tuesday, Dec. 1

The City of Humble's 35th Annual Christmas Parade of Lights runs Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. on historic Main Street. After the parade, Santa visits Uptown Park to collect children's wish lists, according to the city's 2026 parade packet. Parade units line up at Main Street and Railroad Avenue, so expect that end of downtown to be busy well before 6:30. Groups that want to march had a regular registration deadline of Nov. 13.

Because it's a weeknight, the parade fits around work and school. Plan dinner downtown before or after rather than counting on a full evening out. One newer spot for that is Main Street Hub, a wine lounge at 305 E. Main St. that celebrated its March 7 opening this year, as Community Impact reported. This will be its first Christmas parade on the street.

The city also keeps the season going in neighborhoods after the parade with its Christmas Lights and Decoration Contest, open to residents and businesses. Entries are due Friday, Dec. 4, and judging is Monday, Dec. 7, at 6:30 p.m., per the same packet. If you're already putting lights up for parade week, you'll have three days after the parade to enter.

Gift Shopping Between the Big Markets

The two Civic Center markets are five weeks apart, and a few new storefronts along West Lake Houston Parkway in Atascocita cover the stretch in between. La Lihn, a faith-based clothing and accessories boutique owned by Caridad Mae-Lihn, opened Oct. 10 at 18321 W. Lake Houston Pkwy., Ste. 140. Community Impact reported that it carries men's and women's styles, with an emphasis on size-inclusive women's clothing.

A few doors down, Cozy Coffee is preparing to open at 18445-A W. Lake Houston Pkwy., in the space that once held Jitters Coffee and Sweetland. HKA Texas reports that the locally owned company has served Cleveland and Tarkington since 2018 and is now hiring. It hasn't announced an opening date.

Keeping up with a Humble season this spread out takes some planning, and we like helping our neighbors do it. If you'd like a seasonal calendar for your part of Humble or Atascocita, along with a free home valuation and neighborhood guide, Chelley Lenz with Donnette Premier Group is glad to put one together for you.
